Ruan D. Gomes is a computer scientist with a D.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG). He has been working at the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Paraíba (IFPB) since 2012. Currently, he is a professor in the Academic Department of Informatics at IFPB Campus João Pessoa. He is also a permanent member of the Post-Graduate Programs in Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at IFPB. He has extensive experience in R&D projects and has worked as a principal investigator or researcher on projects funded by companies such as Petrobras, Eletrobras, and RNP, as well as government funding agencies like CNPq. His primary areas of research and development include wireless networks, embedded systems, and multimedia distributed systems.
